FAQ

When is the market held?
Once a month, on the first Saturday of every month except January, between 10am and 2pm.

Where is it held?
On Ham Parade (otherwise known as Richmond Road), KT2 5PU

How do I get there?
There is limited parking available on/near Ham Parade and it is best to walk, cycle or get public transport to the market. The 65, 371 and K5 buses all pass by the market. You can view bus routes here.

What type of stalls are at the market?
There will be around 25 stalls, roughly two-thirds selling food and one-third crafts plus the Market’s own stall and one for a local charity. If you know of any local food suppliers you think should be present at the market, or if you would like your local charity to be represented at the market, please contact us.

Can I have a stall at the market?
The market is carefully curated to ensure it offers consistently good quality and variety, so applying for a stall doesn’t guarantee acceptance. That said, we love to hear from potential new stallholders – you can find all the details here.

Do you take last minute bookings for a market?
No. We have to obtain a traders licence for each stall from Richmond Council and this process takes three to four weeks.

Who runs the market?
A group of local volunteers in the form of the Ham & North Kingston Community Investors CIC. see our committee list for more details.

Can I help with the market?
Yes please! The market takes a lot of organising but it’s good fun and you don’t need to commit to helping at every market. If you can spare a few hours once a month we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch using our contact form.

Anything else?
Yes! Ham Parade Market is a plastic-bag-free zone. Please bring your own bags or buy one of our fabulous Ham Bags on the day!
